Yesterday Tassu and I did a quick hike in the neighborhood. The weather was a bit crappy so we decided to enjoy local trails.A nice 6-mile hike around Cougar Mountain took us to the Lost Beagle Trail.
We had a blast, and not even the beagle got lost! Even though I let Tassu to run off leash.
Our major moment of embarrassment was meeting a trail runner. Tassu heels pretty well, especially with treats. When I saw the runner, I just asked Tassu to get next to me and was ready to put him on leash. However, this runner was very dog friendly, and told me that I can let the dog run around.
He wanted to say hi to Tassu, and what my social puppy did ….. GEEZ! He got so excited about meeting a new person that he kindly wiped his muddy paws to runner’s pants. Oh well, he didn’t sound or look upset at all but I still felt bad for him.
Otherwise yesterday was uneventful. I had planned all kind of cooking activities and was gonna make a delicious salmon dinner. However, after all I felt lazy and ate out. So Sunday dinner will be home-made, delicious baked salmon then. And will have leftovers for work! Yayyy! Back to work tomorrow ….
